Man, 28, struck by two vehicles at Olive and Villa Avenues
FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 21, 2024) – Luis Hidalgo Corado, 28, of San Diego, died Wednesday night when he was hit by two vehicles at Olive and Villa avenues in Fresno.
The Fresno Police Department responded to the traffic collision around 8:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16th.
A westbound driver traveling along Olive Avenue struck the young man at Villa Avenue.
The victim was reportedly carrying some belongings and was blocking the roadway in a darkened area near the intersection, the report said.
The driver pulled over and someone called 911 for help.
Meanwhile, a second vehicle described as a mid-sized sedan also struck the victim, but this driver fled the scene.
The Fresno Police Department is heading up the investigation.
At this time, authorities do not suspect alcohol and/or drugs were a factor for the victim or the initial motorist, but they have not yet located the suspect.
