Luis Enrique Napoles, 22, Suspect in Car Accident at San Juan Grade and Boronda Road
Salinas, CA (July 1, 2021) – Police arrested 22-year-old Luis Enrique Napoles in relation with an injury car crash that occurred in the area of San Juan Grade and Boronda Road.
The KSBW News published an article online indicating Luis Napoles was driving a Ford Mustang traveling in the streets of Salinas. When the car approached the intersection of San Juan Grade and Boronda, Luis Napoles allowed the car to veer off the roadway.
Officials said the Mustang ended up crashing into a power pole at the crossing. The force from the impact resulted in major front-end damage to the vehicle.

Authorities said the driver suffered injuries from the incident. Per local news source, officers cited Luis Napoles on a charge of driving under the influence.
Meanwhile, responding paramedics reportedly rendered aid to a passenger found with injuries. The passenger in the Mustang sustained non life-threatening wounds and is expected to survive.
Further investigation on the DUI car crash in Salinas is ongoing.
