Luis Solano Guzman, 33, Killed in Lake Elsinore Crash on Interstate 15

LAKE ELSINORE, CA (April 21, 2023) – Luis Solano Guzman was killed after a crash on the Interstate 15 in Lake Elsinore.

The coroner’s office identified the 33-year-old Menifee man as the victim in the fatal wreck which took place on Friday.

The incident happened when Luis Solano Guzman was driving a sedan on the southbound Interstate 15 in Lake Elsinore. For an unknown reason, his car collided with a pickup truck.

2 Cars Collide

The California Highway Patrol said the two crashed in the middle lanes, just north of Nichols Road. My News LA wrote that the collision occurred on April 21 shortly after 2 a.m.

Deputies confirmed that Luis Solano Guzman died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the pickup truck ended up unharmed following the accident.

Meanwhile, CHP forced the southbound lanes of the Interstate 15 to shut down for about two hours following the wreck. The cause of the Lake Elsinore crash is still under investigation.
