Luz Urias, 57, Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Dalewood Street

DATE OF ACCIDENT: Sunday, December 16th
December 17, 2018 – A 57-year-old woman was killed in a suspected DUI collision on Dalewood Street Sunday afternoon, according to San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
The fatality was identified as Luz Urias.
As per the article, Urias was a passenger in a motorcycle operated by 56-year-old Sergio Cardenas, of Los Angeles. Authorities believed Cardenas was intoxicated at that time, and clipped a curb on Dalewood near Francisquito Street around 5 p.m.
Fatal DUI Crash in Baldwin Park Sunday
First responders reportedly found Urias ejected from the motorcycle, and unconscious. The female passenger was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, Cardenas reportedly complained of leg pain and was treated at the location. Primary reports indicated police arrested and booked the motorcycle operator on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
