2-Vehicle Crash in Lynwood on the I-105 Freeway
LYNWOOD, Calif. (August 22, 2022) — A Lynwood traffic accident happened Monday morning on the westbound Interstate 105 Freeway at Long Beach Boulevard.
The collision occurred about 7 a.m. on August 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials say the drivers of a gold Lincoln Navigator SUV and a white landscaping work truck collided due to unknown circumstances in the slow lane of the freeway. Responding CHP officials found the driver from the SUV “slumped over the vehicle,” the report said.
Authorities called for paramedics to respond to the scene, just east of Long Beach Boulevard.
Meanwhile, it appears that emergency crews took one person to a hospital, but there are no further details at this time.
Finally, tow trucks removed at least one of the vehicles and police are heading up an investigation into the accident.
