Officer Hospitalized After Accident on John Street Near Highway 101 Sunday
Salinas, CA (March 10, 2021) – Authorities arrested 25-year-old Lyric Renee Slade-Southall in relation with a car accident that occurred in the area of John Street and Highway 101 early Sunday.
According to an article published online by the Californian, a Salinas police officer was responding to an incident on E. Alisal Street. While heading to the site, a vehicle driven by Lyric Slade-Southall made an illegal left turn on John Street near the Highway 101 ramps.
Our sources indicated the civilian motorist smashed into the passenger side of the police cruiser. The force from the impact left the patrol vehicle inoperable with a bent axle and other damage.
