Major Injury Car Crash on Highway 395 Friday
Madeline, CA (May 29, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident on U.S. Route 395 near Main Street in Madeline.
On May 28, Friday, the California Highway Patrol logged a collision involving at least one car. Officials said a vehicle with multiple occupants veered off the roadway and slammed against a tree along the northbound side of the freeway. The make and model of the car involved in the wreck remained unknown at this time.
Driver, Passengers Trapped After Car Accident in Madeline [May 28]
Shortly after 2:30 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the site and found the parties trapped in the wreckage. Responding firefighters immediately worked to extricate the victims. After they pulled out all the occupants, paramedics checked their conditions.
The CHP dispatch confirmed the incident resulted in major injuries. Pending confirmation, the names of the people hurt in the crash and their age have not been discussed thus far.
Detectives stayed at the location the whole afternoon to investigate the precise cause of the car accident in Madeline.
