At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Collision on Highway 145 Tuesday
Madera, CA (July 27, 2021) – A car accident that occurred Tuesday on State Route Highway 145 resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Primary reports indicated a Cadillac SUV veered off the roadway for an unknown reason; and struck a pole along the highway near Island Drive in Madera. It remained unclear whether the car slammed into an electrical pole, or a telephone pole.
CHP logged the incident shortly before 4 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found juveniles involved in the wreck. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. Our sources confirmed at least one person sustained major trauma as a result of the wreck. Pending confirmation, the name of the injured party remained undisclosed.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the car accident in Madera.
