1 Seriously Injured in Madera Crash on Highway 41 Near Avenue 12
MADERA, CA (April 29, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Highway 41 in Madera.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:54 p.m.
According to their report log, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed on the highway, a mile north of Avenue 12, in Madera.
Car Collision Near The Flag Barn
CHP described the two cars as a gray Dodge Avenger and a blue Dodge Grand Caravan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near The Flag Barn.
Medical personnel found one unresponsive occupant in one of the vehicles involved. They then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the roadway to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Madera crash.
