1 Killed in Madera County Crash at Avenue 12 and Road 35
MADERA COUNTY, CA (April 21, 2023) – A crash killed at least one person at Avenue 12 and Road 35 in Madera County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck on April 21 at about 9:16 p.m.
The incident happened when two cars collided for an unknown in Madera County. The vehicles crashed at the intersection of Avenue 12 and Road 35.
2 Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a white Ford 350 and a Honda sedan. One of the vehicles involved knocked down a stop sign in the area.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene in the Madera Ranchos community. They confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, officers forced the corner of Avenue 12 and Road 35 to shut down for several hours following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Madera County crash is still under investigation.
