Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-run Crash on Road 224 in North Fork
MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (July 23, 2020) — A pedestrian was struck and killed a hit-and-run collision Thursday morning at Road 224 and Grandmas Place in North Fork.
The crash was reported at 3:35 a.m. on July 23rd to the California Highway Patrol. The collision involved at least one motorist who fled the scene.
Police closed down Road 224 and noted that an involved driver had fled and there is no description of the vehicle.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by police to determine fault. The incident number is 00032.
