1 Injured in Madera County Hit-and-Run Crash at Highway 145 and Avenue 12
MADERA COUNTY, CA (June 3, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Highway 145 and Avenue 12 in Madera County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:30 p.m.
Their incident log said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason near Parkwood in Madera County. They crashed at the intersection of Highway 145 and Avenue 12.
CHP described the cars as a silver Hyundai Elantra, a black Toyota Camry and a black pickup truck. The Hyundai obtained major rear-end damage while the pickup ended up with major front-end damage upon impact.
Multi-Car Crash Near Parkwood
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene and then found one person who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon provided treatment to the victim at the site. Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that at least one driver involved did not stop following the wreck. The truck fled and was last seen going eastbound on Avenue 12.
Officers forced the corner of Highway 145 and Avenue 12 to close after the collision. The Madera County hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
