1 Injured in Madera Crash Near Yosemite Avenue and Tozer Street
MADERA, CA (March 5, 2023) – A DUI crash left one person injured near Yosemite Avenue and Tozer Street in Madera.
According to an article published by the FOX 26 News, the accident took place on Saturday. Officers reported the wreck in the evening of March 4.
The incident happened when two cars collided for an unknown reason in Madera. The vehicles crashed near the intersection of Yosemite Avenue and Tozer Street.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one driver who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the victim for the minor injuries they sustained in the wreck. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP determined that the other motorist was under the influence when they hit the other car. They soon arrested them for DUI.
Officers forced the area of Yosemite and Tozer to shut down following the incident. The cause of the Madera crash is still under investigation.
