2 Killed in Traffic Collision on Highway 99 Saturday
Madera, CA (August 7, 2021) – Two people died following a car crash that occurred on Highway 99 early Saturday, the ABC30 News reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle veered off the roadway while traveling north on the highway near Avenue 12 in Madera. The car continued moving away from traffic and eventually rolled over several times. Officials said the vehicle came to a rest after landing onto a nearby field.
The horrible crash took place at about 12:40 a.m.

When emergency teams arrived at the location, they found the car engulfed in flames. Responding medical personnel said a man and a woman were left trapped in the fiery wreckage. Paramedics pronounced both parties dead at the scene.
The names of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the fatal car crash in Madera.
