Volkswagen, Harley Davidson Motorcycle Crash on Highway 41
MADERA, Calif. (Oct. 13, 2021) — A Madera motorcycle accident on Highway 41 happened Wednesday near Avenue 12, authorities said.
The motorcyclist suffered a lower leg injury in a car accident Wednesday, Oct. 13th on State Route Highway 41, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Additionally, the CHP reported the crash about 8:30 a.m. between a gray Volkswagen Jetta and a Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Paramedics and Cal Fire responded and authorities closed down the roadway in all directions to land a medical helicopter. The CHP report did not mention the age, gender or identity of the motorcycle rider, but the information will be in the official police report.
Additionally, they airlifted the injured motorcyclist to a hospital for treatment of his injuries. The roadway reopened by 9:25 a.m., police said.
Also, a tow truck removed the damaged motorcycle from the scene, however, it’s unknown if the car got towed.
Investigators seek to determine liability for the Madera motorcycle accident on Highway 41. Witnesses may contact police to help them with the investigation.
