Majid Mojibi, 75, Killed in Bakersfield Pedestrian Crash at 20th and F Streets
BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 23, 2022) – Pedestrian Majid Mojibi was killed after a crash at 20th and F streets in Bakersfield.
The coroner’s office identified the 75-year-old Bakersfield man as the victim of the fatal accident which took place on Saturday.
The incident happened when Majid Mojibi was crossing the intersection of 20th and F streets in downtown Bakersfield. For an unknown reason, a vehicle hit him.

The driver struck the person two blocks west of the Fox Theater. The Bakersfield Now and Kern Golden Empire wrote that the collision occurred on September 17 at around 7:30 p.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived at the scene. They found Majid Mojibi who ended up suffering from serious injuries as a result of the pedestrian accident.
Medical personnel rushed the patient to a hospital, where he soon died. Meanwhile, police added that the motorist stopped and stayed at the site following the incident.
Officers forced the area of 20th and F streets to shut down for a time after the collision. The cause of the Bakersfield pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
