2-Vehicle Car Accident in Di Giorgio Area of Bakersfield

KERN COUNTY, Calif. (August 23, 2023) — A major injury Bakersfield crash at Mountain View Road and Tejon Highway happened Wednesday in Kern County.

The two-vehicle collision occurred around 5:54 a.m. on August 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a pickup truck and a sedan were involved. The pickup truck overturned during the collision and the vehicles were blocking the roadway.

Paramedics responded to help at least one person with major injuries, but there are no further details.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Bakersfield crash on Tejon Highway.
