2-Vehicle Collision on Wilson Road in Bakersfield
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (Dec. 18, 2024) — A major injury motorcycle versus car accident happened in Bakersfield Tuesday night on Wilson Road, just east of Wible Road.
The motorcyclist suffered major injuries after colliding last night with the sedan around 6 p.m. on Dec. 17th in south Bakersfield.
The Bakersfield Police Department reported the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Wilson Road when the driver of a Kia sedan made a left-hand turn into his path.
Paramedics responded and transported the injured motorcyclist to a hospital with major injuries. The rider’s condition as of Wednesday is unknown.
Meanwhile, the driver of the sedan did not get hurt and cooperated with police investigators.
Preliminary results of the investigation indicate that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
