Bus and Car Crash on State Highway 99 at Gerber Road
Tehama County, Calif. (Jan. 7, 2020) — A bus collided with a car Tuesday morning on Highway 99 at Gerber Road in the El Camino and Gerber area.
UPDATE: Four people hurt in bus accident identified
The crash was reported at 7:51 a.m. to the California Highway Patrol. The left-hand turn lane was blocked and the bus wound up in a nearby field after the crash, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
The involved Ford suffered major front-end damage in the collision.
Paramedics responded to the scene to help those who were hurt including at least one person with major injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the CHP to determine liability.
