Major-Injury Collision on Georgetown Road in Garden Valley
GARDEN VALLEY, Calif. (August 7, 2018) — A major injury collision was reported today on Georgetown Road (State Route 193) at Black Oak Mine Road, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The collision was reported to the CHP about 12:47 p.m. between the drivers of a Chevrolet Blazer and a Jeep Cherokee SUV. The roadway was blocked by the two vehicles following the crash as paramedics arrived to transport the injured person or persons to a hospital.
The report provided very few details about what happened.
The crash is under investigation by the CHP to determine fault.
