Woman, Infant Badly Hurt in Collision on El Dorado Freeway Saturday
Cameron Park, CA (January 22, 2022) – A car accident that occurred in the area of Highway 50 and Cameron Park Drive resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated a black sedan spun out the freeway and slammed into the center divider. At this time, it remained unclear if another vehicle was involved in the collision.

Shortly after 6:07 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found a woman bleeding, and an infant also with injuries. Medical personnel immediately rendered aid to the victims. After the evaluation, paramedics rushed the two patients to the hospital for treatment.
Officials identified the injured woman as Monica Guzman. Additional details on the victims remained undisclosed.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car crash on Highway 50 at Cameron Park Drive.
