Major Crash Angeles Forest Highway, Mt. Gleason Road in Acton

ACTON, Calif. (April 28, 2026) — A major injury crash happened Tuesday on Angeles Forest Highway at Mount Gleason Road in Acton.

The two-vehicle collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. on April 28th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the southbound lanes of Angeles Forest Highway were blocked due to the accident and there was a possible fatality and or major injuries.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene to help the injured.

It’s unknown how many of those hurt were hospitalized at this time.

Tow trucks removed the vehicles from the scene due to heavy damage. The cause of the accident and liability remains under investigation.
