2-Vehicle, Major Injury Crash in Yuba County
LINDA, Calif. (May 13, 2022) — Two people suffered major injuries in a crash at Simpson Lane and Simpson Dantoni Road in the Linda area of Yuba County.
The collision occurred at 4:28 a.m. on May 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of two silver pickup trucks collided due to unknown circumstances at the intersection. Both vehicles suffered major front-end damage in the crash, suggesting it may have been a head-on crash.
Additionally, two people suffered major injuries in the collision. One of them was a woman with a broken right leg who also had lacerations on both her left and right knees, the report said.
Paramedics responded and transported both people to Rideout Regional Medical Center.
Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the roadway.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash.
