Major Injury Accident Shingle Road and Amber Fields Drive in Shingle Springs
EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif., (Sept. 24, 2026) — A major injury traffic accident occurred Thursday morning at South Shingle Road and Amber Fields Drive in the Shingle Springs area of El Dorado County.
The incident was reported on Sept. 24th at about 6:21 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch log. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene promptly, where they found a vehicle with significant front-end damage.
The injured party was transported to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment of major injuries prior to the arrival of the CHP, as noted in the incident log. The nature of the injuries and the condition of the victim have not been disclosed at this time.
The CHP altered the incident classification from a traffic collision with a major injury collision. A firearm was reportedly secured in the office safe by AC Towing, according to company policy, although details surrounding this are unclear.
