2-Vehicle Collision on Herring Road in Arvin
ARVIN, Calif. (August 2, 2024) — A major injury crash happened Friday morning on Herring Road and Edison Road in Arvin, California.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 5:42 a.m. on August 2nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a grey Toyota sedan and a white pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances at the intersection.
Paramedics responded and rushed at least one person with major injuries to a hospital, but there are no further details.
At the crash scene, the pickup truck went over the side of an embankment next to the roadway.
Also, there are stop signs for traffic entering Herring Road from South Edison Road, but traffic on Herring Road has no stop sign. The report did not mention the direction of the vehicles prior to the collision.
Investigators are working to determine liability for the Arvin crash on Herring Road.
