Major Injury Traffic Collision near Quincy Airport

QUINCY, Calif., (May 13, 2026) — A serious vehicle versus bicycle collision occurred Wednesday morning near the Quincy Airport at Crescent and Main streets, resulting in major injuries to one individual.

The incident took place on May 13th around 10:05 a.m. at the intersection of Crescent Street and Main Street, close to the airport. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the collision involved a motor vehicle and a bicycle.

Emergency responders, including the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), were swiftly dispatched to the location. At 10:09 a.m., units were reported to be on the scene. The injured party was transported to Plumas District Hospital (PDH) for treatment of major injuries, the CHP confirmed. The bicycle involved was released to the Sheriff’s Office.
