Girl, 8, Hospitalized After Collision in Hercules
Hercules, CA (June 4, 2022) – An 8-year-old girl suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred at a neighborhood in Hercules.
On May 17, a child was riding a Segway Ninebot Electric GoKart. The KRON News reported a motorist backing up struck the child. According to the article published online, the car involved in the crash was a Black 2018 Toyota Rav 4.
The crash took place at about 5:45 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the accident scene, they found the child pulled out from underneath the Rav 4. Family members and neighbors worked extensively to life the car and extricate the juvenile.
Paramedics rushed the injured girl to Children’s Hospital in Oakland. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the incident have not been discussed thus far. Given that, detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the accident in Hercules.
