2 Injured after Vehicle Veers, Rear Ends Another Car
The crash was reported at 12:19 p.m. just south of Bear Valley Road.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said the male driver was getting something from the back of a black Dodge Ram truck when a gold Chevy Impala swerved off the freeway and rear ended the pickup and its motorist.
The man was reportedly not pinned between the Dodge, which was stopped on the shoulder, and the sedan.
Scanner traffic affirmed that one person was seriously injured and was taken to Desert Valley Hospital for treatment. A second party involved requested for another ambulance, however, the injuries sustained by that patient remained unspecified.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
