At Least 1 Seriously Hurt, 3 Vehicles Involved
WATSONVILLE, California (July 24, 2016) – A major injury collision took place on Hambey Lane Sunday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
CHP first logged the incident as a head-on crash at 3:38 p.m., involving two minivans and a sedan. The wreck occurred near San Miguel Canyon Road.
As per the dispatch, fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene to attend to at least one person who was confirmed to have been seriously hurt in the accident. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment.
The condition and name of the patient remained unknown at this time.
Meanwhile, a red colored minivan, a silver Saturn and a black Ford Fusion were reportedly seen in the area where the collision took place.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
