2 Injured after Pickup Carrying Travel Trailer Overturns
LEGGETT, California (May 13, 2016) – A major injury collision was reported Friday at 11:23 p.m. on Highway 101, also known as Redwood Highway, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP first logged the incident when for an unknown reason a full size Chevrolet pickup truck pulling a travel trailer went off the roadway and overturned.
As per the report log, paramedics responded to the scene and attended to two people injured following the crash. The victims suffered injuries ranging from minor to major degree.
It was not immediately specified in the dispatch if both patients were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities are gathering more evidence and information to determine the cause of the accident.
