At Least 1 Extricated, Seriously Hurt
The crash took place in the northbound lanes of Highway 395, just north of Chris Flat Campground.
CHP first logged the incident when a white Ford Excursion and two more vehicles collided at 2:22 p.m. One of the cars involved went off the roadway and slammed into a tree.
As per the dispatch, fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in a vehicle. The victim was seriously injured and was then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Another party required medical attention following the wreck.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
