SAN DIEGO: Major Injury Collision on 805 Freeway at Clairemont MesaSAN DIEGO, California — At least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision on North Interstate 805 freeway at Clairemont Mesa Boulevard in the afternoon of December 31, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

As per the CHP log, two vehicles were involved in the 12:36 p.m. accident.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after the crash and located at least one party suffering in major injuries.

An article by San Diego Union-Tribune mentioned that a tree was struck down at the crash site.

Due to several factors remain unclear, investigation is underway.
