3 Hospitalized with Minor to Serious Injuries
MALIBU, California (August 29, 2016) – According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, a major injury collision took place on Pacific Coast Highway Monday afternoon.
The crash occurred on southbound Highway 1, just south of Sycamore Canyon Road. CHP said a white Toyota Camry, a white truck and apparently a third vehicle collided.
As per the incident log, paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that a total of three people were injured following the wreck. One patient was transported to Ventura County Medical Center while the two others were taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The victims, whose names and condition were not immediately disclosed, suffered injuries ranging from minor to major degree.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
