Major Injury Crash at Dinuba Avenue and Zediker Avenue Near Parlier

Collision With Entrapment Reported at Fresno County Intersection

FRESNO COUNTY Calif. (Jan. 2, 2026) — A two-vehicle crash near Parlier resulted in major injuries Friday afternoon at East Dinuba Avenue and South Zediker Avenue, authorities said.

The collision was reported on Jan. 2nd around 1:50 p.m., according to a California Highway Patrol incident log. Initial reports described a crash involving multiple vehicles, including a white Honda coupe, a white Dodge Durango, a white sedan or a white minivan.

CHP officers later upgraded the incident to a major-injury collision. Authorities reported that the driver of the Honda was trapped inside the vehicle and that emergency medical services were requested. Fire crews were contacted to assist with the extrication, and a vehicle fire was reported in the area behind responding units.

Abel’s Towing was called to the scene as part of the response. The extent of the injuries and the number of people transported to area hospitals were not immediately released.

The intersection experienced traffic disruptions while emergency crews worked to clear the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
