Major Injury Crash East Jahant Road, Griffith Gate Lane in Lockeford

2-Vehicle Collision on East Jahant Road in North Lockeford

LOCKEFORD, Calif. (Jan. 23, 2024) — At least one person suffered major injuries Tuesday in a crash on East Jahant Road at North Griffith Gate Lane in the Lockeford area.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 23rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a second vehicle were involved. One of the vehicles also hit a pole and a person became trapped in their vehicle with injuries to their legs.

Paramedics responded to the scene to help those hurt and transport them to a hospital.

Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both of the vehicles due to major front-end damage.

Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash on Jahant Road.
