Major Injury Crash Highway 101, Near Lakeville Highway, Petaluma

PETALUMA, Calif., (April 10, 2026) — A significant traffic collision resulted in major injuries this morning on the southbound U.S. Highway 101 near the Lakeville Highway offramp in Petaluma.

The incident was reported on April 10th at approximately 9:17 a.m. The collision involved two vehicles and occurred just north of State Route 116, near the Lakeville area. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) received notification that the collision had escalated to a major injury classification.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, where they found individuals with serious injuries. According to the logs, at least one passenger from the collision was transported to Petaluma Valley Hospital for a leg injury.
