CHP said a green Ford Explorer and a silver Nissan collided at the intersection about 7:30 p.m.
As per the report log, one person was seen on the ground while another appeared to have been pinned inside one of the vehicles involved following the crash. Fire department responded to the scene to attend to the victims.
At least one party was confirmed to have been seriously hurt after the wreck. The name and condition of the patient remained unknown at this time.
Meanwhile, the dispatch mentioned that both cars were occupied only by the driver when the accident occurred.
Liability will soon be determined once the investigation process is over.
