FRESNO, California (December 23, 2016) – A major injury collision occurred on westbound Highway 168 to southbound Highway 41 transition Friday evening, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
CHP first logged the incident when a silver colored SUV and another vehicle, apparently a motorcycle, collided about 7:20 p.m.
As per the report, paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that one person was seriously hurt following the crash. The victim was then transported to Community Regional Medical Center with a right leg fracture.
The name and condition of the patient at this time remained unknown.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
