BREAKING: Major Injury Car Accident in North Hollywood
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (May 15, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash on the Hollywood 170 Freeway happened Wednesday, just north of Riverside Drive in the North Hollywood area.
The collision occurred at around 10:15 a.m. on May 15th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a black Mercedes Benz SUV and a white Infiniti sedan were involved in the crash.
The Los Angeles Fire Department sent paramedics to the southbound side of State Route 170 and located at least one person with a major injury, the report said.
Police closed down the Riverside Drive off ramp due to the crash and requested tow trucks to remove both damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the Hollywood 170 Freeway.
