Semi-Truck, Car Involved in Fiery Head-on Collision
SUTTER COUNTY, Calif. (June 7, 2024) — A fiery crash involving a semi-truck and car happened Friday morning in Meridian at David Road, just east of Valos Road.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 5:58 a.m. on June 7th, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
A driver in a red Dodge Challenger reportedly collided head-on with a semi-truck when one of the vehicles veered into the path of the other one.
The Dodge caught on fire and became fully engulfed in flames.
Paramedics responded and transported at least one person with major injuries to a hospital, but there are no further details at this time.
Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the crash scene and investigators are working to determine fault for the case.
