Two-Vehicle Collision at Fresno Intersection
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (Jan. 9, 2026) — A two-vehicle crash in Fresno involving major injuries happened Friday afternoon at East Jensen Avenue and South De Wolf Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was reported on Jan. 9th shortly before 2 p.m. and was later upgraded to a major-injury crash after emergency personnel arrived at the scene.
Dispatch logs indicate the crash involved a white Kia Soul and a black sedan. At least one of the vehicles was blocking westbound lanes of Jensen Avenue, causing traffic disruptions in the area as first responders worked to secure the scene.
Fire crews and medical responders were dispatched, and a towing company was requested to assist with vehicle removal. One tow request was later canceled as the investigation continued.
Details regarding how the crash occurred and the number of people injured were not immediately released. The extent of the injuries and whether anyone was transported to a hospital have not been disclosed.
