FAIR OAKS, California (April 17, 2016) – One was seriously injured in a traffic collision in the area of Madison and Hazel avenues on Sunday night, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch. (map)
The accident involving at least two vehicles occurred at 8:20 p.m., on Madison Avenue, just west of Hazel.
As per the dispatch, a witness said a pickup truck and a sedan were reportedly stuck together following the crash.
Sacramento Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene to attend to and transport the victim to Mercy San Juan Medical Center to be treated for major injuries.
Meanwhile, CHP reported that a man who appeared to be angry was seen attempting to kick a red colored vehicle in the area.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
