MARIPOSA, Calif., (June 4, 2026) — A major injury crash occurred on Highway 49 near Ben Hur Road Wednesday evening, involving a blue Ford F150 and an older white Dodge pickup towing a horse trailer.

The incident was reported on June 3rd at approximately 5:28 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The collision led to the dispatch of emergency services, including CalFire and EMS, to the scene.

The crash involved a blue Ford F150 and a Dodge pickup towing a stock trailer. Details from the CHP logs indicate that multiple individuals sustained injuries of varying severity. One individual with minor injuries was transported to John C. Fremont Hospital, while another individual with moderate injuries was transported to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

Emergency responders worked to clear the scene, and Mariposa City Tow was requested to remove the vehicles involved. The roadway was temporarily blocked during the incident, causing delays in the area.
