FRESNO, Calif. (Feb. 24, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash occurred on the northbound Highway 99, just north of the Jensen Avenue on ramp.
The major injury collision happened about 8:35 a.m. on Feb. 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol. The drivers involved included a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, a white Land Rover and a third vehicle.
The Silverado went off the roadway, down an embankment and hit a tree, another was in the middle lane and one of them possibly caught on fire.
Paramedics responded to help at least one person with major injuries. They were transported by ambulance to a hospital for further treatment.
Tow trucks removed at least two of the vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the crash.
