Major Injury Mojave Collision on Highway 58 Bus Near Arroyo Avenue

MOJAVE, Calif., (August 11, 2026) — A crash involving a quad bike resulted in major injuries Monday night on Highway 58 Bus north of Arroyo Avenue in Mojave, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The incident occurred just before 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026.
The CHP report indicated that someone was struck by a quad bike, leading to serious injuries sustained.
Emergency responders, including Kern County Fire Department (KCFD) units, were promptly dispatched to the scene. The first units arrived shortly after 7:00 p.m. and attended to the injured party. The situation initially reported as having no injuries was later updated to a major injury incident.
