At Least 1 Seriously Hurt, 5 Vehicles and Big Rig Involved
ANDERSON, California (July 28, 2016) – A major injury collision occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway Thursday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
CHP said at least five vehicles, including a white 1992 Honda Accord, and a big rig collided about 3:30 p.m. The crash took place near North Street off-ramp.
As per the report log, a truck lost its load and stopped in one of the lanes, causing the accident. Paramedics were requested to attend to the at least one person who was confirmed to have been seriously hurt following the wreck.
The victim, whose name was not released, was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the incident to determine liability.
