Major Injury Ripon Crash on Highway 99, Jack Tone Road

RIPON, Calif. (April 24, 2026) — A major injury crash happened Friday in Ripon on Highway 99 near the Jack Tone Road off-ramp in San Joaquin County.

The driver of a blue Chevrolet sedan collided with the center divider due to unknown circumstances, according to the California Highway Patrol. A driver in a blue PT Cruiser reportedly stopped to help the motorist.

CHP officials reported at least one of the cars was blocking the fast lane.

Paramedics responded and transported at least one person to a hospital.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
