2-Vehicle Collision on I-5 Freeway in Stockton

STOCKTON, Calif. (June 3, 2024) — A major injury crash happened Monday afternoon on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway, just north of Hammer Lane off ramp in Stockton.

The drivers of a white sedan and a Toyota Sienna SUV collided at around 1:17 p.m. on June 3rd, according to the California Highway Patrol report.

Both vehicles overturned onto their roofs in the southbound Nos. 1 and 2 lanes, the report said.

The Stockton Fire Department responded to help those injured in the crash. At least one person suffered major injuries in the collision.

Tow trucks removed the vehicles from the freeway and investigators are working to determine fault for the Stockton crash on the 5 Freeway.
