Motorcycle, Pickup Truck Crash in Fig Garden Area
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (Nov. 29, 2022) — A motorcycle crash involving a pickup truck happened Tuesday morning at North Palm Avenue and East Gettysburg Avenue in the Fig Garden area of Fresno County.
The crash occurred about 11 a.m. on Nov. 29th, just north of Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcycle rider collided with a white pickup truck with a small trailer carrying a lawnmower, the report said. CHP officials noted the traffic lights were not working and were all blacked out. It’s unknown if that was the cause of the crash or if that resulted from the collision.
Paramedics responded to help the motorcyclist who suffered major injuries.
They transported the rider to a hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the motorcycle from the roadway.
Investigators are piecing together what led to the Fresno crash on Palm Avenue.
