Major Injury Collision on Highway 1 Friday
Malibu, CA (September 24, 2021) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a car accident that occurred on State Route Highway 1 Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a motorhome RV crashed on Highway 1 in Malibu. The collision took place at about 7:22 p.m.
Responding emergency crews found the motorhome with major damage. It remained unclear whether the recreational vehicle veered off, or ended up in the middle of the roadway.

When medical personnel arrived, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. The CHP log confirmed at least one person suffered major injuries as a result of the wreck. Pending confirmation, the name of the victim and their age remained undisclosed.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the car accident in Malibu happened.
